DailyVal Privacy Policy

DailyVal ("the app", "we") is an unofficial Valorant companion app for Android and iOS. This policy covers both versions; where the two platforms differ, the difference is noted. It explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. DailyVal is not endorsed by Riot Games.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data — when you sign in, we receive your Riot ID (game name and tagline), region, and authentication tokens. Tokens are stored encrypted on your device only.
• Game data — match history, rank, store rotation, and loadout data retrieved from the Riot Games API and HenrikDev API to display in the app.
• User content — posts, comments, and skin ratings you create are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore/Storage) together with your user identifier.
• Purchase data — Premium subscription status is processed by RevenueCat together with Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple In-App Purchase (iOS). We never see your payment details.
• Advertising data — Google AdMob may collect an advertising identifier (the Google Advertising ID on Android, or the IDFA on iOS) and device information to serve ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Data

• To display your daily store, match history, and game statistics.
• To provide social features (posts, comments, ratings).
• To verify Premium entitlements and remove ads for subscribers.
• To show advertising that funds the free version of the app.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Third-Party Services

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage)
• Google AdMob (advertising)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Riot Games API and HenrikDev API (game data)

4. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your DailyVal account and associated data (posts, comments, ratings, profile) at any time from Settings → Account deletion → Delete your DailyVal account in the app, or by emailing us at the address below. Deletion is permanent and completed within 30 days. Riot account credentials are only stored on your device and are removed when you sign out or uninstall the app. For the full list of what is deleted and what is retained, see Delete Your Account and Data.

5. Your Rights in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

Legal basis for processing.

• Consent — personalised advertising and the use of advertising identifiers. Before any personalised ad is shown we ask for your consent through Google's certified consent management platform.
• Performance of a contract — providing your account, your Premium subscription, and the game-data features you request.
• Legitimate interests — keeping the service secure, preventing abuse, and diagnosing crashes.

Withdrawing consent. On Android you can change or withdraw your advertising consent at any time in the app under Setting → Ad Privacy Settings. On iOS, where we use a tracking identifier (IDFA) for advertising, we first ask through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and you can change that choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew.

Your rights. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app (see section 4); for any other request, contact us at the address below. We respond within 30 days.

International transfers. Our service providers (Google, RevenueCat) process data on servers in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or on an adequacy decision.

Complaints. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

6. Children

DailyVal is not directed at children under 13 and complies with the age requirements of Valorant in your region.
